About Me

I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. In addition, I am a member of EMDRIA, Open Path Collective, and Texas Counseling Association.

During my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings both inpatient and private practice. Early in my career I received training in EMDR and have successfully treated active duty military, first responders, veterans, sexual assault survivors and clients suffering from Trauma, PTSD, depression and anxiety. I specialize in counseling people from diverse backgrounds through the use of individual, group, family and couples counseling.

In my philosophy of therapy, I believe that every person is unique and I develop individualized treatment plans for my clients according to the needs and goals of each client. I draw from many areas of theory and research such as Attachment, Neurobiology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic philosophies in order to provide clients with the most up to date therapeutic treatments available.

I am passionate about helping my clients achieve their goals and I see my clients through a lens of strength and resilience. I approach all clients with an open mind and heart striving for connection and strong relationships, as these are catalyst for growth and change.
